2 A.M In Palm Beach
I'm falling into a dream.. Which is my hope of reality, buried beneath the corpses of those who thought they could surpass me. I'm brilliant, how do you see that as being cocky? I was born with these talents and there's nobody alive to stop me. It's right here in this contract, oops I mean this prophecy that only the pope could believe if his time wasn't devoted to those innocent boys we all see on TV. CNN, point out these enemies please so we can end their breed with violence no other country could tease or mock. America, the bullying jocks that wipe up evidence with justice; nah, that's just a wooden mop. Tell Lincoln that fairness has dropped tremendously and that our leaders have a tendency of not listening to what the people obviously have to say. War is at bay! This is just another thing Shakespeare didn't have time to make into a play. What are you, gay? Well, is that such a wrong thing to be or just a wrong thing to say? Don't throw that book in my face and shout that God is angry at my beliefs and ways. I've fought long enough for my right to marry the same sex today, be happy with whom I lay, and live a life of meaning without a care for what you say. So yes, YES! I'm gay. This is just a story, children don't take it the wrong way. I know how drama starts, just step out of my way. I have things to do, things to prove, and many people to save. Free your soul, free your soul! This is just wisdom that isn't spoken on an album conjured up by J.Cole or Kendrick Lamar. You don't have to grow up in Compton to know who you are. You don't need bullets flying, family lying, policemen tailing the back of you while you driving trying to escape cause you have enough drugs in the back to get you locked away without bail or a time to pray. People die, people die. Life is about losing your mind trying to make up the time to create that happiness that'll make death, in the end, feel fine. You see, Florida hasn't changed my mind.. It has broaden it. I see more than just the selfishness of my peers, the dark sparkle in these fallen tears, the dark shadow that lingers over when the end is near, a light of hope when everybody cheers, that spit of laughter when everyone is here. This is a new year, a new story that's meant to appear. Don't you fear, whether your straight or queer. Open those eyes and unclog those ears. Love that person you see every morning in the mirror. Know where your power lies and let every heart beat be a reminder that it's here..
