2 a.m. Thinking

They tell me some of my best pieces were  written late night early mornings
When the troubles from my past were annoying me like pants creases
My troubles are like the freshman fifteen annoying yet creeping
The whole time I was thinking that there was something wrong with me
It never ever came across my mind that maybe this time , there's something wrong with the world that we live in
Police brutality , gay rights slander , and Donald Trump running for president
Too stressed out , Bill due on the fourth but they would rather go buy some shoes that come out on the second
And 2 a.m. is when my heart bleeds and my pen starts to pour out everything that I've been holding in .
I keep praying to God that maybe one day , this world will get better !
