20 minutes

i slammed your room door

on my middle finger.

it hurt like hell

but your hug made it better.

i chewed on my bottom lip,

unsure of whether or not

you'd want to kiss me.

i left you waiting

for 20 minutes

before i answered your text.

i just didn't know what to say.

i slipped my hand into yours.

it felt right.
