2006

Work was all they knew

As i grew i miss them but what could I do

I was just a kid, naive and defensless to how life could be

I felt the countless hours brush my eyelids as I would try to stay up to see them

Oh those were the longest hours of my life just waiting for my parents

Tick Tock tick tock the clock went and matched the beat of my heart

you could say even at that age I did not think straight, made some compulsive decisions that were not that smart

Man, where those time hard to sit and wait for an idea to spark

all I felt in me was poverty had made a move in my life, just a little just a spark.

2006, it kept its mark.
