2013, Thus Far

My cat pissed blood

in the kitchen sink

and vomited

on the bathroom floor

He got old

and got laid off

He’s got to go

He’s got to go

She fell when she stood

and puked on her dog

She stayed home for three days

and washed her in the tub

He does not talk the same

and claims he is tired

But I have spoken with her

They cannot wait until September

I saw you in the hallway

You changed your hair

It has been 73 weeks

I type your name every day
