I'm just a criminal in your eyes

Because I'm not white as snow

In your eyes

I'm the broken child

Daddy took the next flight out

I'm the druggy

Getting higher than my GPA

I stay home getting welfare all day

Never speaking the proper English way

Your blinded eyes perceived the black and white days

Take a new prescription

To see the colors overcome the greys
