2020

I made some plans, they disappeared.

I lost some friends and shed some tears.

Around me masks, no people there.

Weddings livestreamed, yet I'm alone.

Now trapped at home, we're all depressed.

Just sit around, binge-watch Netflix.

Pretend we're all doing okay,

Yet lacking all community.

Maybe someday, we'll find normal.

But until then, we're stuck at home.

We hope next year will be better,

but we all know how sequels work...
