bye bye country
bye bye love
bye bye honey
bye bye freedom
farewell to the
gypsy lovers
farewell to the
grass that grows
farewell to the people
who treated me right
farewell to the people
who treated me wrong
good riddance.
goodbye my people
goodbye my friends
goodbye my lover
although we met
a tragic end
i still remember everything
when i’m walking through
the city
i still feel like i’m
driving on that windy
road back to where my
roots are of my
teenage years
the roots that are so
thick they can’t be cut
these roots
farewell to all,
farewell when i leave
i will remember the good and bad
and wear the pride on my sleeve.
