Do I take a part in the nations affairs or let it drop on Atlases feet? The television always makes it seem
that those who refuse to act and play their part in the issues of the time, of the american story, will be when remembered the defenders of it's crimes.
This is not a true picture of the populus, it is easy for American political theater to group people too narrowly into wheat and tares, one for saving the other for the fiery pit.
Eventually even those who once invested a lot of their time in front of the television, will choose to have peace rather than the noise.

Poetry is important to my life because it gives me a way of saying things I never imagined were in me. My poems deal with all kinds of subjects, my attitude on today's culture, art, corporations, nature, etc. But these aren't the only things that I write about in my poetry.
