I write a poem

A testament to our pain

A heavenly disdain

 

A tear streams down my eye

As my child dies

I hear his cries

Yet i can't say goodbye

 

They say he was reaching for a gun

I say i'm done with this endless oppression

For your discretion

All he had a phone
