the 2/25

I felt so happy, that I laughed through the pain.
But as i did i realized something, that it'll never go away
I realized it was here to stay, no joy could numb it.
I cried in pain, and in grief.
For even if I laughed, it would never go away.
It would only grow, never to disappear.
Until I screamed, in pain.
So I try to keep it, hidden from friends.
For they would not understand, why I'm crying.
And if I told them, they would call me weak.
For if I cannot deal with this, then who am i.
To be called happy? When times are tough.
I have to stand, and pass them.
