I am no fan of jewelry,
but you radiate in my world;
a radiation
I see no point in
getting rid of.
Like you once claimed,
you, too, I concur,
are worth more
karats
than I your twenty-
four.
You, my radiating princess,
deserves a jewel much larger
than I, your twenty-
four;
your hands of rose
longing to hold
me,
and your pierced
cheeks deepened
as my diction
deliberately
debilitated you
into my own twenty-
four karats
under the
sun,
which you radiate
more than.
