(26) Life As I Know It V.XIII.MMXV @ 4:04pm

Drugs ignite twisted perceptions.

Times are rough, that’s an expectation.

Everything the world does is meaningless.

Life keeps teaching us.

In the bathroom reflecting on events that occurred.

Scribbling it down as I’m flying like a bird.

Hoping one day these painful rhymes get recognized.

Miserable memories linger, my family cries.

Life’s a twisted dimension, swirling in circles.

Roaming dark alleyways, smoking on some purple.

I don’t have enough reasons to live nor end it.

Regardless, I can’t split.

I’m not the one to ask about rehabilitation.

I’m on an adderall trip, with heavy concentration.

My addiction is a constant danger to everybody around.

The things I would do just to get myself a pound.

Cruising this shady neighborhood late at night.

Losing my grip, anxiety takes flight.

With my third eye, I encounter a dark soul.

Living it up in this world, a gaping black hole.

Some drown themselves with alcohol.

Other’s fall into substance abuse and begin to crawl.

The rest are fighting for their life, a brawl.

Either you win, lose or it’s a draw.

That’s life as I know it.

Some will fight for it.

Others will retreat and forfeit.

I control what’s mine, something I’ll never forget.
