This 2nd Day of Spring(Stained)
Here we are,
on this 2nd day of spring,
Nothing seeming wrong,
But now here you are,
in my arms,
barley breathing.
and slowly dying,
or so i thought.
You finally wake,
your shirt stained with tears.
Again, it happens,
But you wake up quickly after
Worried, and panicked,
I know not what to do,
or say
You tell me to do something for you
I didn't realize you wanted me to kill you
Now we stand hidden from sight,
with my hands around your throat,
another tear rolls down my cheek,
and i let go and catch you before you fall
You yell and complain,
but simply i did not have the heart to,
I try to explain,
that i would not be able to live with the stain
But you soon realize,
that without you,
I would go insane
I could not keep on living if killed you,
I would have to die right with you,
But now here we are,
Both alive and well
On this 2nd day of spring
but my hands are somewhat stained
by our tears and your simple want to die.
