2nd Grade Teacher
I walk in to utter choas, kids screaming,
my mind streaming,
thinking how did i ever get this blessed?
See i was raised with much less,
with a broken home,
spending most of my time alone,
with nothing to hope for no dreams,
until one day it all changed,
i met this lady, i called her my teacher,
she must have been sent from above, my own personal preacher.
She changed my life in those first years of school,
gave me my hope and showed me my dreams so i wont end up a fool.
Since that day i aspired to be like her because,
i want to give the world hope and stop kids from being where i already was.
