3 A.M.

You know those restless nights where you find yourself awake unable to sleep? You lay in bed willing your mind to cease its raveling thinking. Do you know those nights? Well, I do. I know them quite well actually. 3 A.M. knows all my secrets and all my thoughts. It knows all my regrets and all my sorrows. 3 A.M. is my best friend It will always be there whether I want it to or not. It does not judge me It does not criticize. It is silent and it is observant. 3 A.M. is my worst enemy. Not because it deprive me of my sleep Or because it is an unwanted visitor making me relive every moment I try my hardest to forget, But because it knows me better than the people I call “friends”. They only know what I tell them What others tell them And even then that’s only half the truth. But not 3 A.M. … 3 A.M. knows everything.
