3 Lines She Counts.
I question my sanity.
Is this what iv become?
Broken and numb.
You scream and shout,
And I'm still crying out,
Save me.
My skins bruised, and my hearts blackened.
Trying desperately to tell you how sorry I am for being the monster.
You look at the bathroom sink, 3 lines you count.
I hear a child ask, sissy why?
I can’t face her.
My chest feels heavy, my hearts beating so erratically.
On her wrist is a rose, tattooed there with my name.
She hold it up screaming, your my heart.
She begs me to stop, to find the hope within.
3 lines she counts…
