3 Months Out

9th grade sad songs 3 weeks pre-prom

I'm not ready to leave this behind

There's no goodbye to the where I spent my life

In your arms, in your heart

The writing on the back wall of my bedroom

I see you on the map stuck up with pins

It's drawing new paths, new sunsets I haven't seen

Never been so scared, it's only of where I could be in a year

Maybe scared, maybe happy, maybe a new me

This is a world on my own

Print it out from MapQuest

Tape it over the driver's side window

I'm blindly feeling out for the new me anyway

This is change

This is progress
