3,000 Miles Apart

To the one that is always there
To comfort me with care

Your warm brown eyes staring at me
Greatest thing for me to see

Your presence is everything
Even though it's through a screen
You're important to me

Our fun conversations
Our 12 hour phone calls
Our petty arguments
And your cute snores when you fall asleep

You help me with whatever
No matter how tired you are with whatsoever
My forever

The wrinkles by your eyes when you smile
Make my heart desire

Although it is hard
To not physically be with you
I can't imagine
How hard it would be
If I never met you

Depressed while I cried
You saved and turned me into a beautiful butterfly

3,000 miles apart
But I've been with you from the start

Distance is hard
But I do it just for you

Because I Love You
