3:15 am.

3:15 am.

“Are you awake?” “yeah.”

4:20 am.

Because I love you, Ive sat on the phone in silence. Waiting for you to explain to me what happened. You say that life has gotten harder than you imagined.

I sit here and reassure you that everything will be okay. That the sun will rise again in a few hours and begin a new day.

Because I love you, I tell you how proud I am of you, and all that you have accomplished. That you’ve come so far and are so strong. And will go on to do amazing things

10:00am.

I wake up and bring you your favorite drink.

See you smile, as I run to hug you

Talk about your morning and the good things that have happened.

We laugh and walk as we make our way to class and I encourage you to have faith in what the rest of the day has in store.

6:00pm.

We sit and talk for hours about the places in the world that we will not let go unexplored.

Our dreams and aspirations

Goals and admirations

You laugh and say I love you. Thank you for always being there for me

In the darkest hour you were the light, that shined so bright.

You ask me why I stay by your side and I say

I do all of this because I love you.
