3:30am

3:30am in the morning

I should be getting my rest

but instead I sit expressing my feelings

in a poem derived from all the stress

I challenge myself to open up

yet I still fear the consequeences that could come

for

the last person I let in did't hesitate to run

but the words i spill on these pages are only for my eyes to see

so pen to paper

I began to write

and these words take complete control over me

my heart layed out on the pages

as blood drips through the lines

I could hardly control my emotions

as tears flew from my eyes

3:30AM in the morning

I sit dejected in my room all alone

with only a pen and a piece of paper

to console my wounded soul.
