3:36 AM

3:36 in the morning and I'm lying awake in bed

Thoughts of you filling my head

Honestly, I'd rather be asleep instead

The truth is I can't stop thinking about you

This cliché shit is something I'd never thought I'd do

But you came around and made my heart blue

There's as much hate as there is love

I have Faith but I work above

Trying to make sure this pain will evolve

Into something that I can get out of

Still a part of me thinks I won't get over how you made me feel

I hadn't ever known pain to be so real

I'm tangled up in you and I don't think I can heal

Tears fill up my eyes every now and then

Playing like I don't care but it's all just pretend

And I'm afraid that this will never end

3:43 in the morning and I'm lying awake in bed

Thoughts of you filling my head

Honestly I'd rather be asleep instead
