The 34th Murder
The streets raised him well cause it's a jungle in the hood
Survival of the fittest yea he was living good
Quick cash coming in providing for Rae ken and dbo
Yea they was living good too but little did they know
Once 2:40 hit he was on strother block
wit Quinny and his mans yea he was slingin rock
But don't get caught up in all them hood fantasies
Cause there's never a happy ending to a tragedy
He needed that cash quick fast and in a hurry
He wanted to ball like his last name was curry
Grandma told you boy that everything got a price
and if you can't pay it it'll cost you your whole life
So boy what's your worth a couple bands and some kilos
Rae done found out and she went to tell Dbo
Who gone take care of us if something happen to you Laney
Did you even think about your baby momma or your baby
This girl you got pregnant can be turn into your wife
Right now you not thinkin boy you tryna lose your life
He promised that he quit and man he was doin good
but once you in it's hard to get out of this hood
If you making me a promise better keep it understood
you said you crossed your heart and you put it on yo hood
You said it's just one party I ain't gone be out all night
All it take is just one party for you to go and lose your life
You ain't answer your phone so I showed up in the hood
I'm looking for 2fly where he at is he good?
Look to my left and see a boy that's crossfaded
he lifts up his head and can't tell me what his name is
see this what I mean G you can't do nothing right
Sweet Baby Rae calm down i'm alright
Boy you in a hood where everybody want ya head
Shots start flyin everybody duckin heads
My whole world stops once I see you in my hands
Lord take it back
you made a mistake
The boy in arms ain't the one you should take
How am I supposed to live
Can I even survive
When we watched each other's tears fall that was our goodbye
