That number,
That call,
The first kiss,
My fall,
The talking,
The texts,
The visits,
The sex,
This silence,
Mistakes,
Forgiveness,
This ache,
It’s love,
No it’s not,
It’s all that I’ve got,
The hours in wait,
The bitter self-hate
In the face of this doubt
The real you comes out.
