It all started when we distinguished the difference between wrong and right,

We begin to see things black and white.

It’s not just you, and it’s not just me.

This depiction happens to everybody.

With standards to live up to, and people to prove wrong, Simba will become king

But Scar tried to steal the throne.

There’s always competition.

Young girls, the babies, compete in these…. Beauty pageants?

Barbie’s covered my floor, as I was about the age of four

They stayed there days on end, blonde, busty, very thin.

I wish my hair was smooth, and I wish my eyes were blue

Thinking days on end, my vision ascrew.

Girl don’t you know your beautiful, only you are you –

How is this to be true?

I go to the store, I want a new Barbie, I found one like me her hair really curly. There was just one, no others around her

Maybe I was blessed

Thank god I found her.

My doll is so pretty, she smells so brand new

When you come out the package, Ken might stare at you.

No Ken didn’t stare, he had a fear, a woman so beautiful, destructive with care.

Why is it that societies so strange,

Is it because

Were all born deranged?

Streets filled with violence, who does this portray?

You, me, them, or products of pain?

If I died, would the great lord accept me today?

Or would I wait at the gates, and then hope and pray.

Hope that I’m accepted by all here in heaven,

Praying acceptance will be what is destined.
