4 What It's Worth

Brown sugar

You are my muse

especially on days when I feel most confused

You get me

without even trying

You move just like the wind,

You spin me around like we've been dancing

all night.

You pull me in close and hold onto me tightly

You have this way of making the shitty things in life alright

You get me,

and not the way my friends do

You see a part of me I never knew was there

I know-

It's hard being two lonely people

But for what it's worth

I get you too.
