Its been 4 years since my life changed forever.
Looking back now, things could not be any better.
I can take a look at the man I am becoming.
I can realize that no matter what, my life is still worth fighting.
I've debated ending it all, just to make the pain go away.
That was all before I realized, you have to live for today.
In a weird way, I am saying thank you for the way you opened my eyes.
Thanking you for saying you didn't love her, and all the tears I cried.
I was forced to grow up in a way no kid should.
But the growing up was needed, as I shed my shielded hood.
