I lay here and think of how I miss you, although I know I shouldn’t.
You were a big impact in my life,
although everyone says you weren't the best.
You shouldn't have lied the way you did,
You shouldn't have stayed the way you did,
You didn't want to be with me.
When I broke it off you strayed further.
The gun went off and you made record time.
It doesn't make sense.
If you didn't want to stay, then why did you for so long?
I didn't keep you locked up like a bird with clipped wings.
You had the chance to leave, but yet you never left.
I still bare an emotional attachment to you.
Come take it back because I don't need it anymore.
I need something new.
But I still want you.
