My lonely soul lost in the night
Trying to let out the screaming inside
But with a mouth taped shut
And a throat that has dried
No words will bubble up
And boil over the surface
No feelings will come alive
And show that I’m worth it
A candle flares up softly
With little sparks of hope
Catching in the wind
However they do not cope
The young flames
So warm and bright
Try to hold together
But disappear from my sight
In the black that I see
…To be continued…
