48 minuets

The preperation I had to do

Hardships that have been endured

I learned how to be discipline

How to fight through frustration and doubt

People didn't believe in me

They couldn't see the opportunity I saw

Days on end of work

Tons and tons of meditation

I had to have the right mindset

And develope a killer intinct

48 minuets changed my life

Taught me how to be a man

How to be a winner

48 minuets on the court, with a ball in my hands

My future and hopes on the line

Basketball was my mentor

It was my Master Splinter

He tought me not to whisper and hope people hear me

I now know how to raise my voice and make people recognize

That the greatness in me has no bounds

That my potential has no roof

My game is my proof

Basketball has asked nothing in return

Just that I gave him my all

And I have

And now life bends to my will

I wouldn't be me without basketball

All his lessons will be cherrished
