5 A.M. In Harlem
Up Long nights thinking
should i grab some guns and go on a mission
in my head it sounds fun
if i don't move then where's the proof
thats the story of our young lost black youth
but who is the one thats goning to ride or die
when the reading comes are you really down
when them shots fired are you fring rounds
don't hear loyaty its just a bunch of sounds
They say im caught up in a amazment cuz my city in a cross fire with sum hatered
they said i let the slums get the best of me but i tell them thats the real reason yall hate me
im treat "please'
thats crazy words like tect bullet wounds something you can't hea
l it gets real i did'nt even sigin a major deal
so chill because im gone when i touch this mill
if you know me you can see the hunger in my eyes
i rip the blinders down everytime when i leave they putting up catuion signs
i take my hat off all i see is a bunch of crimes!!!
