5 Reasons Why

It's for all the memories that went untold

My moments under a brighter moon, freezing in the cold

For those that are gone, and all that have yet to truly live

Under a banner of hate and refusing to forgive

I write for the emotion, melancholy and bliss

And for every single soul that  longs for this

I write because I'm passionately alive,

Though the world told me for certain long ago that I would die

I write to put my inner melody in a song

And that way, even when I'm dead, I'll live forever on.
