5 Steps to Safely Texting and Driving


  1. Start the car. You're running late to work. Driving 5 miles over the speed limit can't hurt, right?
  2. Speed. You said 10 miles over was okay, remember?
  3. Pull out your phone. Your friend wants to get lunch later, and you're already multitasking; no big deal.
  4. Respond. That is, if you can finish typing. You're driving too fast.
  5. Wait. The paramedics should be here soon.
