50 States of Mind

They tell you old habits die hard,

but so do old versions of selves,

which is why I can still hear Her.

Telling me not to eat.

Telling me to pull out our old razors.

Telling me to go back to where we were

  before.

It's them or me.

Something has to be expelled.
