500 dollar dress

And then I see you

500 dollar dress

Hanging like the ghost of a girl who could have been

Still shining in the darkness of my closet

With your emerald pleats and sweetheart neckline

And those rhinestones so meticulously sewn on

Oh, what a night you would have had!

What a happy girl you would have made.
