5th Hour

The bell rings,
And free students wave.
This class is hell,
I need to be saved.
An hour of lecture,
We’re squirming around.
I couldn’t care less,
About the wavelength of sound.
True characters of students,
Are shown in your class.
We pay you no attention,
Yet you allow us to pass.
Aaron is sleeping,
Maddie’s painting her nails,
Ryan is texting,
And Sabrina's already bailed.
I’m not taking notes,
I’m writing instead.
This poem is about you,
From thoughts in my head.
AP Chem.
Why do you hate me so?
We ask you a question,
And you reply with, “oh, I don’t know.”
You’re a nice person,
I’m not going to lie,
But your teaching skills need help
Your lectures make me cry.
