I never thought this day would come.

The day we say goodbye

I know it's just temporary

But I can't help but cry.

You tell me you love me

And you always will

Then tell me why

The world is moving around me

And I'm stuck standing still.

I'm scared of the thought.

The thought

 of you forgetting me

The thought

Of you finding someone else

I can't ignore these feelings

I have for you

But I can't ignore this pain

I am left with either.

The pain of those last words.
