"Let it go, forget it, it's over."

That's all I ever hear, little do they know it's deeper than it appears. 

We moved away six years ago, March 1st 2011, was the best day of the year. 

The abuse was there but nobody cared. 

The screams were loud and clear.

Mom only knew about the obvious abuse, she didn't think to look in the room. 

Dad put his hands in places that left me in fear. 

"Don't tell anyone, I'll kill you"

Years of threats, years of control, all kept hidden until i couldn't keep quiet any longer.
