"Note to self:

Life is easy,

Love is hard."

The magic sensation surpasses sleep

As coffee and movies fly

Fluttering fantastic fantasy

Love is coy and sly;

You will never know why,

Nothing ever changes while change consumes you

But the first brush

First blush

First kiss in the gym

First time falling frantically, freely

Love would never again greet so warmly

So star-crossed and special.

Like the last goodbye.

Not the first to say "I love you."

But the last to know

Not the first to walk away too

But the last to go.

Depression is the new obsession.

Remember to forget what you regret:

The good things never last.

Nothing is more fragile than our future.

Countless months of trust, mountains of words -

Gone in seconds, one sentence

A brief angered utterance.

Good morning from Jameson or Jack;

Loving whiskey without love

Hearts broken as cannon fodder

Sleepless eyes as heavy as water

Help is hard,

Healing is an ounce.

Kaleidoscopes converge, crashing

As endless night becomes day

And knots becomes nooses

Friends save you from falling

Seeing you senselessly sliding -

In control while falling apart

Building character and breaking your heart

Along comes another,

Their presence is palpable piece of mind

This is more than a feeling

But refusal to fall

Because there's something about falling...

Bridges burn and heart strings break

My troubled road, none want to take

Led to this vista view

Love may be true,

But what matters most is you.
