At 7

At 7 years of age I wanted to be all grown up

I also wanted to play at the famous Palm Tree Playground all day

So I did, until my parents said it was time to leave

At 10 years of age I wanted to be all grown up

I also wanted to stay up all night playing video game with my best friend

So I did, until my parents said I had to go to bed

At 13 years of age I wanted to be a grown up

I also wanted to just play sports and watch TV all day everyday

So I did, until my parents said I had to go school, do my chores, write a thank you letter to Grandma

At 16 years of age I wanted to be a grown up

I also wanted to fake a sickness so I woudn't have to go school that day

So I did, until my parents quckily realized I was faking, and told me to go to school and get a job

From a young age I have always wanted to grow up

Now, at 19 years of age 

Offcially grown up in the eyes of grown ups

I wonder why I ever wanted to grow up in the first place
