7 Billion Minds

Humans, humans, humans

Searching for acceptance

In return getting malevolence

Claustrophobic together

Pressing down on each other

Gasping for the air

Needed to survive

Humans, humans, humans

Such silly thoughts they think

So caught up in their selfishness

They even forget to blink

Turning away from reality

More and more each day

Priorities now begin

To slowly fade away

The great manifest destiny

Its lies in full decay

Humans, humans, humans

Unspeakable, unreachable

Love is completely intolerable

Seeking to leave their vanity

Instead on the brink of insanity

Afloat on a current of hate and jealousy

Humans, humans, humans

What will become of us?
