THE 807
With it comes
A sense of home
Cast Of characters
At every turn
You going to
The Bodega
Or I
Twisted Teas
And cigarettes
This is a
Story of a place
That has a name
But never a face
You know you just
Belong here
whelmed by
The sense of community
And the empathy
Of acceptance
We live on the
Fringe of this fast
Paced society
It comes alive
As you sleep
Music and dancing
Laughter and tears
Stories are told
And wisdom shared
You never leave
Empty
Your heart will
Be full and your mind
Finds home
Finally centered you
Take the moment in
You know time
Goes by fast
There will come
A day when we
Wish we were here
Back right here
Right now
In this moment
Loyality gained
Respect given
Courage embraced
Listen to the sound
Of the moment
Be present
Be still
Walls fall as
Friendships form
You're ok
You're finally home
Go gentle as it's
So very fragile
Never let them
Take this moment
It is ours
Frozen forever
In a time where
Love was all that
Was to be found
You going to the Bodega?
Or am I?
