9

In loving memory of those killed in Charleston

On a Wednesday night, just after dark, 9 souls were taken from this world and forced to depart.
We often ask why yet the answer seems to elude the mind; it is tainted by hatred and deluded by the "colorblind".
I refuse to stand idly by and watch sanctuaries and churches become a home for those made to die.
Why take the souls of those so kind?
O God please nurture the souls of those 9.
My heart is heavy and feels so far out of place.
I can see the pain etched in their families' face.
And to the evil that caused this pain I must ask what result did you hope to gain?
Just give us an answer as to why, at least give us a clue.
What did those 9 ever do to you?
