“This grim attack in America will never be forgotten.

We may overcome it, but it will never leave our minds.

America thought itself superior and untouchable.

However, this attack brought us to our senses.”

<p>This poem was written in my AP Literature class. This is the 12<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attack on the Twin Towers in New York. I wrote this on Wednesday September 11, 2013.</p>
