A Poem,
For me - a story in rhyme,
Something I can do - most anytime.
Retired I am – with time to spare,
Rather this – than rocking in my rocking chair.

Stories come - the strangest ways.
Get an idea - may think on it for days.
I like stories - that have suspense,
Does it make sense - I must be convinced!

Off to my computer - when time to share,
It’s my writing tool – and gets special care.
My fingers are nimble – that gives me speed,
My hand writing bad – it’s hard to read.

From the start to done – I work to find,
A word that rhymes – at the end of each line.
This not easy - as one might think,
And after done – work may stink!

May stink - they usually do,
How many are good - only a few.
But worth it to me – it takes up my time,
And forces me to find – words that rhyme!
