A Cheap Performance

You say you want to hear my side of the story When in reality we all already know the stupid game your playing You told me I ruined your life Then turned around and said you loved me You lied And yet you still expect me to stay To stand here like a fool who doesn't see The knives you hide behind that winning smile it's not a story you want, it's just an alibi A cheap performance for your fragile pride You didn't love me, you just loved the fight And now you're losing your audience tonight.
