But being reunited with you felt like the sun finding its way back to me, a glimpse of hope, a quiet source of life. I thought I needed the mountains to calm the storms within me, but maybe all I needed was a different scenery one where laughter surrounded me and love existed without effort. Somehow, in your presence, the weariness in me faded away. For the first time in a long while, I felt lighter, alive again.
