A Fifth Season

I am that forgotten and damaged picture hanging in the darkroom ... the dream broken by that falling sensation. I am another missed sunset without you.

My mind wanders into a fifth season to a place and time where flowers burn instantly, ice flashes off into the air, open fields suddenly end, our intimate moments fade into goodbyes and where the happiness of my love for you turns into an ocean of tears without warning.

A spectacle of color, light, happiness and life turned into a monochromatic dying reef holding waves from storms and cold ocean currents.
