A girl in the grass

She sat on the grass, Tears streamed down her cheeks. She didn’t know how to ask, Or how to repeat her silent pleas. This girl stared at the cliff, Underneath her knees, Then she got a thought, One that would make it all end. She stood up and walked towards that cliff, Taking a deep breath, She almost slipped. “Wait” I called over to her, “Don’t do it, not yet” Her sad eyes turned to me, Sniffling, she said, “Why? Why not? What's the point? If all I do is sob, Can’t you see im losing it” I nod, taking her hand, Bring her back down to closer land. “Shh, it's alright. Life’s not fair, But don’t end it just yet, When there's so much left to spare” “But no there's not! Not a single grain, Im so fargone, That even the rain Doesn’t even notice me” “Okay, if that's true, Why am I even here? If you were forgotten and uncared, I would disappear. You are loved, You are cared about. So I won’t sit here, While you gloat now About how you want to die, No that won’t happen. So get up and go live life, While you still have it.”
