A heart misread

Soul easily attached After a conversation My mind goes straight to possibility As someone being peer pressured I hold my heart in places Before knowing where I belong to them Get told I love too quickly Unaware of my intentions I remain in a blur Get told it could be the fear of abandonment I take a moment of reflection Maybe it isn’t the feel of abandonment That taught me to hold on Maybe I was simply taught love is meant to be felt. My heart developed situationally On Second Thought, Could it just be I love too hard or have higher standards High expectations from rom coms films Seeing your close ones in love Sometimes I wonder to myself, will I ever meet someone that loves me as much as I adore them. But why is it that in this generation Love is hidden Showing much affection pushes them away But not showing affection pulls them in Why is it that the heart can withstand loving someone so deeply, Instead of being taken as obsession. Maybe I don't love too excessively, Maybe I have been surrounded by people who are unwilling to love openly.

Very true! I have noticed too, people want the rom com love but only thr glamour of it, not the depot pure feelings that come with the love- the loyalty, the sacrifice, the pain..it's all part of true love The worked becoming materialistic, but don't lose yourself..you'll be the spark of sincere human emotion that really everyone craves deep down
